Legal basis and purposes of processing
Your personal data are processed:
A) without your express consent, in order to handle your request for information. Consent is therefore not required since processing is necessary to respond to such requests.
B) only with your specific and separate consent, for direct marketing activities, such as sending – also via e-mail, SMS and MMS – advertising material and communications containing informational and/or promotional content relating to products or services provided and/or promoted by the Controller, including gifts and free samples;
Data retention period
Your personal data will be processed for the time strictly necessary to achieve the above purposes, after which they will be deleted or anonymized.
With specific regard to the purposes described in point B), your personal data will be processed for 24 months, unless your consent is revoked earlier, which may concern all or only some of them.
Nature of data provision and consequences of refusal
For the purposes referred to in letter a) above, providing data is necessary and constitutes an essential condition for handling your request for information: failure to provide such data will therefore make it impossible for the applicant to receive the requested responses.
For the purposes referred to in letter b) above, providing data is optional, and any refusal to provide such data and to give the relevant consent will make it impossible for the Controller to carry out direct marketing activities and to access the related benefits.

Your data may be disclosed:
• for the purposes referred to in point A), to employees and collaborators of the Controller, in their capacity as authorized persons and/or system administrators;
• for the purposes referred to in point B), to the following categories of external parties, as independent controllers or external processors:
• IT service providers, such as direct marketing, internet service, and cloud computing providers;
• parties providing customer service activities;
• firms and other entities providing assistance, consultancy and services of a legal, tax, accounting, economic-financial, technical-organizational, data processing, and communication nature;
• subsidiaries, parent companies, associated and affiliated companies;
• public authorities and supervisory and control bodies;
Should your data be processed on behalf of the Company by third parties, they will be appointed as data processors by means of a specific contract or other legal act; in any case, your data will not be disseminated.
Transfer of data to a third country and/or an international organization
Your personal data may be transferred, for the purposes for which they are collected, to the United States of America (USA), which is a country outside the European Union. The transfer of personal data to entities located in the USA will take place exclusively on the basis of the signing between Gruppo Industriale Tegolaia S.r.l. and the non-EU recipient of the standard contractual clauses adopted or approved by the European Commission (Art. 46, paragraph II, letters c and d of the Regulation).
